Seminars

One thing that requires special mention in this regard is that each department of the college organises departmental seminars, once or twice a year, the speakers of which are chosen from among the students of the respective department.

  • In September, 2004, a State Level seminar on ‘Human Rights and Human Development in India’ was held in the college with the financial assistance of the UGC.

  • In January, 2007 the college organized a National level seminar on ‘‘New Vistas of Energy Search : Problems and Prospects.”

  • Another national seminar (‘‘on challanges of the indigenous cultures in the face of Globalisation’’) was organised by the college from 8-9 April, 2008.

  • Other seminars on different aspects are also being held at regular intervals involving students and teachers of the College.

  • The college is going to organise another National Seminar on ‘Industrial Resurgence in India’ sometime in September 2010.

  • Post-seminar publication is a special feature of the seminars organised by the college. It consists of the research papers & articles presented/ contributed by the speakers/delegates attending the seminars.
