Salient Achievements
- Dr. Biswajit Pal passed M.Sc. with First Class from I.I.T., Kharagpur in 1993. In the same year he qualified both NET and GATE (95-12 percentile). Subsequently he joined as a Research Scholar under the supervision of professor A.S. Gupta and Professor JC Misra in the Dept. of Mathemactis, IIT, Kharagpur and worked on "Physiological Fluid Mechanics". He received his Ph. D. degree from this Institute in May 1999. As a part of this Ph. D. Programme he had to take some M. Tech. Level courses concerning different topics on Computer Science. He presented his papers in different National and International conferences. He has to his credit six publications in reputed journals.
- Dr. Hora Krishna Samanta was awarded "1st. class 1st. in M.Sc. from the University of Kalyani in 1986. He received his M. Phil degree in 1989 from Jadavpur University. He worked on "Optimization Problem and obtained Ph. D. from the University of Burdwan in 1999. He has been carrying out a U.G.C.- sponsored Minor Research Project. He has eight papers published in reputed journals.
- Dr. Biswanath Garai passed M. Sc. with more than 80% marks from the Universitiy of Burdwan (B.U.) in 1996. He qualified in "SLET in 1998. He has been working on "General Topology and was awarded Ph. D. form B.U. in March 2005. He has seven papers to his credit.
- Swapan Kumar Ghosh passed M.Sc. in Pure Mathematics from the University of Calcutta (C.U.), Ballygunge campus in 1999. He qualified in "NET in December 2000 and in June 2001 as well. He has been working on "Rings of Continuous Functions and is going to submit his Ph.D. thesis under the supervision of Professor S.K.Acharya, Pure mathematics Dept,. He has two papers published in reputed journals.
