Generating interest in Games and Sports, NCC, NSS etc.v Nurturing such qualities as free thinking innovativeness, discipline, fellow feeling, secular attitude, the sense of national integration etc.

Integrating the institution with the society by inculcating a sense of inter-dependence of the two.

Building the institution as an ideal seat of learning and culture in the state as well as in the country in future.

I) Revision of syllabus - Faculties either as BOS members or as representatives in the different workshops organised by the university recommend such kind of courses which would go a long way to fulfil the goals.

ii) Teaching-Learning and Evaluation of Students - The faculties try their level best to conduct this programmes in such a way as to yield maximum effect in the said direction.

iii) Placement and Career Counselling Cell - Of late this cell has been very acting with an eye to fulfilling the most pragmatic goal of the institution, i.e. ensuring job for the graduates produced from the college. The different Career Counselling programmes and Campus Interview programmes arranged by the Cell are clear evidences of that.

iv) Seminars conducted and Projects undertaken by the faculties - Apart from the researches carried out by different faculties for the award of Ph.D. degree, these programmes play a vital role in inculcating the scientific and technological spirit among the students.

v) Publications - The Annual Magazine of the College "UTSARGA" as well as the magazine of the Teachers' Council "FOCUS" by way of accommodating creative articles on Arts, Science, Sociology, culture & heritage contribute substantially in this regard.

vi) Running of co-curricular activities - The Students' Union and different NSS Units and the NCC Cadets, to some extent, play a remarkable role to perform such activities as conducive to the socio-aesthetic and ethical goals of the college.
